The beach is lovely, though not ideal for swimming due to the strong currents.
If you face the sea and walk to the right-hand side of the beach, you’ll find a walkway leading up to the cliffs. From the top, you can enjoy some amazing views and see some unusual geological formations.
Continuing along the walkway along the cliffs, you can explore some old lime kilns and then find stairs descending to the caves. The stairs are quite narrow and you might need to give way to others coming in the opposite direction, but the caves are definitely worth the effort.
Near the beach, there is a parking area which is usually busy. When you enter the village, you’ll see a free car park on the left; from there, it’s an easy walk down to the beach.
