The Animal Academy

The Animal Academy is a refuge for abused and abandoned farm animals situated on the beautiful island of Fuerteventura. Our mission is to provide a sanctuary where these animals can heal and thrive, giving them a second chance at life: here, they become true heroes and advocates for those who have suffered at the hands of humans!

Many of these rescued animals arrive with developmental disabilities, psychological distress, and various health issues. However, within the nurturing environment of the shelter, they find the support and care they need to overcome their past traumas and enjoy the peaceful life they deserve, free from fear and suffering.
