The Morro Velosa Viewpoint is a must-visit destination situated within the Betancuria Rural Park, perched atop the eponymous mountain. Nestled between the historic town of Betancuria and Valle de Santa Inés, it offers visitors a spectacular vantage point just 9 km from Betancuria itself.

This impressive viewpoint was thoughtfully crafted by the renowned Lanzarote artist César Manrique, whose vision has created a harmonious blend of architecture and natural beauty. From here, visitors can enjoy an expansive panoramic view stretching across the distinctive landscape of plains, volcanoes, and crags that characterise the northern and central regions of Fuerteventura.

Despite its popularity and striking scenery, please note that the visitor centre at Morro Velosa is currently closed for renovation. Visitors are still encouraged to enjoy the breathtaking vistas from the viewpoint itself while the refurbishment works are underway.
