La Oliva
La Oliva is a town in the north on the island of Fuerteventura and also a municipality of the island. It’s known for the Colonels’ House, an 18th-century building with crenellated towers and its church "Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria" which dates back to the 1700s. Nearby, the protected Malpaís de La Arena Natural Monument features diverse flora, a 10,000-year-old volcanic crater and lava formations. The town is close to the island’s extensive beaches and dunes, like those in the Corralejo Nature Reserve. Although La Oliva is also a municipality on the island, listings here are in the town of La Oliva.
